Use of chemicals in cooling systems is essential for us to preserve food and vaccine, and for economic and industrial development. As our well being depends on this equipment, we should at least avoid using chemicals that are harmful to the ozone layer and climate. We should replace these refrigerants with natural chemicals and turn to renewable energy as a source to power this equipment. These are challenging tasks, and we must start from ourselves.
