The artwork depicts the people in blue and green which is the color of the earth when seen from a distance. Some people are seen holding placards with different slogans like “No CFC” which means: No to chlorofluorocarbons; “Plant more trees”; and “Protect the ozone layer. This is to show their protest against the presence of chlorofluorocarbons which is used in the manufacture of aerosol sprays, blowing agents for foams and packing materials, as solvents, and as refrigerants. They also encourage humanity to plant more trees to reduce ozone pollution. Finally, the hands that are shown in the artwork embracing the human race represents the ozone layer which has been protecting the earth through all generations. It is our turn now to protect the ozone layer from the danger of those chlorofluorocarbons. Let us say no to CFC and let us plant more trees to protect the ozone layer which is the roof of our home, the planet earth.
