By incorporating the traditional Chinese myth of the Nuwa(Goddess of Creation) patching up the sky and the image of the Dunhuang's flying fairy, this work depicts a goddess filling a hole in the sky with greenery.
The author attempts to demonstrate the strength of Asian women in safeguarding the ozone layer, as well as China's position towards environmental conservation. The aim is to call on the international community to protect the ozone layer and actively address global climate change.
We share the same sky and the Planet, and cross-national "Patching-up-the-sky Action" has begun.
