It shows that those are suffer suffering choose to remain silent because they are afraid of being judged by the society , friends or family. So they remain silent and burn like a candle who is happy from the outside but is melting from inside. They always want to cry and shout about what is happening with them but the fear of being judged always stop them so they have put a tape around their mouth and choose to remain silent and to melt day by day.
